Got Tickets Yet? Countdown to showtime:
Born in Stockton, and a graduate of the University of the Pacific, singer, songwriter, musician and occasional actor Chris Isaak listened to records by Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison growing up. Other inspirations included rockabilly and country singers, including Hank Williams. He got his big break when director David Lynch used Isaak’s song “Wicked Game” in the soundtrack for the movie Wild at Heart.
The song became a Top 10 hit, and the subsequent video for the song helped make him a major star. Another hit for Isaak was "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing.” He was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world in 1990.
