To meet the public's demand for tickets to this eagerly awaited performance by Modesto's own Grandaddy, a second show has been added at 4 pm on Saturday, October 21! Click here to buy now. The 7:30 show is completely sold out.

Modesto’s own Grandaddy—Jason Lytle, Aaron Burtch, Tim Dryden, Jim Fairchild and Kevin Garcia—reunited earlier this year for the release of a new album titled “Last Place.” Tragically and unexpectedly, Kevin Garcia, the band’s bassist and co-founder, passed away recently. While Grandaddy has cancelled their current touring plans, they elected to keep this hometown performance, originally conceived as a 20th birthday party for their debut “Under the Western Freeway” released this same date in 1997, in Kevin’s honor. The band’s influential alt-rock sound, “atmospheric electronics meet warped Americana,” continues to be heard on such critically acclaimed recordings as “Sophtware Slump,” “Sumday” and “Just Like the Fambly Cat.” Come enjoy the music that made Grandaddy one of Modesto’s best known exports, along with selections from the new “Last Place” album.
