THE CHIEFTAINS
GCA FY19
THE CHIEFTAINS
For more than 55 years, Paddy Moloney and The Chieftains have been recognized for reinventing traditional Irish music on a contemporary and international scale. Although the early following for these six-time Grammy Award winners was purely a folk audience, their range and the variation of their music and accompanying musicians quickly captured a much broader audience, lifting their status to a par with fellow Irish band, U2. The Chieftain’s ability to transcend musical boundaries and blend tradition with modern music has made them one of the most renowned and revered musical groups in the world.

ELI YOUNG BAND

ELI YOUNG BAND

The Gallo Center is thrilled to announce that a show by the Eli Young Band has just been added to our schedule! This band has always been unique in modern country music. They are a true band of brothers who play their own instruments, write their own songs and cling fast to their Texas roots. Although their sound has evolved over time, what they’re good at has always been the same—organic, live-show-focused country dripping with authenticity and perfected in clubs, amphitheaters and stadiums from coast to coast. Three No. 1 singles gave the Eli Young Band an edgy, romantically-charged identity (“Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Drunk Last Night”). Expect those hits and more, including selections from band’s exciting fourth major label album Fingerprints.
